Computer Repair
Computer repair is only $35 per hour. There are no hidden fees or anything that will drive that price up. Parts (if needed) will be paid for by the client. 99% of the time parts won't be required though and if they are, I'll let you know ahead of time during the diagnosis. You won't be blasted with unexpected charges for parts that you didn't even know you were being charged for. I have a decent inventory of parts but if I don't have the part you need we can buy it online together.
Diagnosis is $29 if the computer is serviced by me. If no work is actually done, the diagnosis is $49. The diagnosis is very comprehensive and may take some time. If the diagnosis takes longer than an hour, it is $49 - regardless if you have the computer serviced by me or not.
I don't round hours or do part pay. For example, if you're ten minutes over I'm going to have to charge you for a full hour. If it only takes half an hour to service your computer, I'm going to have to charge you $35. On my sole discression, I will make exceptions to this. For example, if you bring me a computer with an unplugged cable or something equally simple, I probably wouldn't charge for something like that.
All repair work is backed by a 90-day warranty on the work. New parts come with the manufacturers warranty. If a new part with a manufacturers warranty fails, you'll still have to pay for installation of the replacement part. If a used part that I sell fails, I will replace the part and all labor charges will be covered.
If you're thinking of having your computer serviced, feel free to call me. A lot of the times I can do a simple diagnosis over the phone to give you an idea of how long it will take and about how much it will cost to fix. I'm available any time!
