About
Austin's Computers is not a business. I do this out of my home as a hobby, and can therefore charge much less for the same amount of work done at a computer shop. I started repairing computers when I was five years old. They just came naturally to me. Back then I broke more computers than I fixed, but I learned through trial and error until I was able to get my hands on some good computer books.
By the time I was seven, I had amassed nearly 100 computers. Every cent I made through repairing computers and every bit of money I received as gifts went into getting more computers. Sure, most of them had severe problems that I couldn't fix at the time, but I kept them anyway.
By the time I was twelve, I was repairing so many computers that it interfered with my school work. I almost failed the fifth grade because I never spent any time doing school work. I was way too busy working with computers. But I eventually figured out a good balance and didn't have any more trouble throughout my school years.
Now I work on computers almost constantly. I barely have time to do anything else! But that's how I like it. I like to stay busy doing the things I love. The only reason why I made a website is because I recently moved to Minnesota and my business from word-of-mouth is gone now. Despite this fact, I'm still getting a lot of computers in every month. Not enough to be repairing them 18 hours a day like I used to, but certainly enough to pay the bills at least.
